They apply to the paid carriage of passengers and their luggage by taxi vehicle on the basis of a booking, agreement or the passenger entering the vehicle.
Once published, these terms form part of the conditions of the passenger transport contract unless the nature of a particular ride, a separate agreement or applicable law provides otherwise.
By booking a vehicle, entering it or otherwise agreeing to the ride, the passenger or person making the booking acknowledges that the ride is governed by these terms, the agreed conditions and applicable law.
Article II. Definitions
For these transport terms:
- Carrier means ALFA TAXI, s.r.o., which provides the taxi service and is responsible for its operation under applicable law and these terms.
- Taxi driver means the individual who drives the taxi vehicle and carries passengers on behalf of, or under a relationship with, the carrier.
- Passenger means a person using the taxi service, entering the taxi vehicle or due to be carried under a booking or agreement.
- Person making the booking means a person who orders transport for themselves or another person by phone, in person or electronically where that option is offered.
- Taxi service means occasional passenger road transport by taxi vehicle as agreed with the passenger or person making the booking.
- Taxi vehicle means a vehicle designated and used for taxi services that meets the requirements of applicable law.
- Transport means the ride from the pickup point to the agreed destination.
- Luggage means reasonable hand, travel or other passenger luggage that can be carried safely in the taxi vehicle.
- Fare means the price for transport, calculated from rates, a taximeter, an agreement or another method agreed in advance.
- Passenger transport contract means the contractual relationship under which the carrier undertakes to carry the passenger to the destination and the passenger or person making the booking undertakes to pay the fare.
Article III. Scope of services
The carrier provides occasional passenger transport, including luggage, by taxi vehicle to a destination agreed with the passenger or person making the booking.
International transport is provided only when the carrier actually offers it and the specific ride has been agreed in advance.
The carrier is not required to provide transport that cannot be carried out safely, properly, lawfully or within the technical and operating capacity of the vehicle.
Special requirements, especially large luggage, skis, sports equipment, a child seat, an animal or a passenger with reduced mobility, must be communicated in advance.
- domestic passenger transport
- urban and interurban transport
- contract transport
- transport to airports, railway and bus stations, hotels, accommodation, healthcare facilities, workplaces, tourist destinations and other agreed locations
Article IV. Booking the taxi service
A taxi may be booked by phone, in person or electronically, particularly through WhatsApp, SMS, email or a web form where the carrier offers that method.
The passenger or person making the booking must provide truthful and complete information needed to perform the ride.
The carrier or driver may confirm or refuse the booking, or suggest another option, depending on vehicle availability, traffic and operating capacity.
- pickup point
- destination
- requested vehicle arrival or ride start time
- number of passengers
- amount and type of luggage
- special requirements such as a child seat, animal, large luggage, card payment, invoicing or assistance with boarding
Article V. Passenger transport contract
The passenger transport contract is formed in particular when the carrier or driver confirms the booking, the passenger enters the taxi, the driver and passenger reach an agreement, or an agreement is made by phone, in person or through an electronic channel.
The contract requires the carrier to transport the passenger to the agreed destination and the passenger or person making the booking to pay the fare.
A price agreed in advance applies unless the parties agree otherwise or the passenger changes the route, destination, waiting time or another material condition during the ride.
If no price was agreed in advance, the fare is calculated from the carrier's current rates, a taximeter where used, or another lawful and clearly communicated pricing method.
Article VI. Fares, rates and payment
The fare is payment for the transport service. It may be calculated from distance, ride time, waiting time, the carrier's rates or a price agreed in advance.
Where a taximeter is used, the passenger should be able to monitor the displayed fare reasonably during the ride unless safety or technical circumstances prevent it.
Where a price is agreed in advance, the driver or carrier communicates it before the ride starts or when confirming the booking.
The passenger must pay after the ride, in advance or by another agreed method where the parties have agreed to do so.
Payment may be made in cash, by card or by another method offered by the carrier. Ask about the required payment method when booking.
The passenger is entitled to a paper or electronic payment receipt.
The carrier or driver makes fare rates and their conditions available in the vehicle, on the website or in another appropriate way.
Article VII. Carrier's rights and obligations
The carrier must in particular:

The passenger must in particular:
- enter the vehicle in a condition that does not endanger the driver, other passengers, the vehicle or road safety
- wear a seat belt and follow the driver's safety instructions

Article X. Refusing or ending transport
The driver or carrier may refuse a ride or end a ride already in progress where required by safety, law, the vehicle's technical condition, road conditions, traffic, an accident, weather or another serious circumstance.
If transport is ended for reasons attributable to the passenger, the passenger must pay a reasonable part of the fare for transport already provided and the carrier's justified costs.
- the passenger is aggressive, armed or endangers the driver, other passengers, the vehicle or road safety
- the passenger's condition creates a reasonable risk of soiling or damaging the vehicle or harassing the driver
- the passenger refuses to wear a seat belt or follow reasonable driver instructions
- the passenger smokes, uses an electronic cigarette or consumes food or drink despite being asked to stop
- luggage, sports equipment or an animal cannot be carried safely
- the passenger refuses to pay the agreed or lawfully calculated fare
- the ride would breach applicable law or these terms
Article XI. Luggage
The passenger may carry reasonable hand and travel luggage if it can be stored safely without endangering the driver, passengers, vehicle or road traffic.
Luggage must be secured so that it does not move during the ride, damage the vehicle, obstruct the driver or compromise safety.
The driver may refuse luggage that is oversized, dangerous, foul-smelling, dirty, poorly packed or impossible to store safely.
Large luggage, sports equipment, skis, pushchairs, mobility aids and other items requiring additional space or special storage must be reported in advance.
Article XII. Animals
Animals may be carried by prior agreement where the type of animal, vehicle capacity and safety allow.
The passenger must report the animal when booking.
The animal must be secured so that it does not endanger the driver, passengers, vehicle or road safety. A carrier, lead, muzzle or other suitable restraint may be required.
Guide and assistance dogs have special status under applicable law.

If the carrier does not provide a child seat or none is available, the passenger or person making the booking must provide a suitable restraint where required by law.
Passengers with reduced mobility are carried by agreement and according to vehicle capacity, with due regard for safety, dignity and reasonable help when entering and leaving the vehicle.
Article XIV. Lost and found property
After the ride, the passenger must check that they have taken all belongings from the vehicle.
Items found in the vehicle are recorded and stored appropriately according to their nature, value and the circumstances in which they were found.
A passenger who believes an item was left in the vehicle should contact the carrier or driver as soon as possible and provide the ride time, route, pickup point, destination, item description and contact details.
Before returning an item, the carrier or driver may reasonably verify ownership or the claimant's entitlement to receive it.
Article XV. Complaints
A passenger or person making the booking may complain in particular about an incorrect fare, failure to issue a receipt, failure to honour a confirmed booking for reasons attributable to the carrier, driver conduct, the quality, safety or proper provision of transport, or another matter connected with the taxi service.
Submit a complaint without undue delay after discovering the issue so that it can be investigated properly. This does not limit any rights under applicable law.
